Rebuilt Cello - hand carved and tuned belly & back to match!
This is a rebuilt Palatino VC 450. As often happens when shipping Cellos this one was severely damaged in transit. The bridge had been driven through the belly and destroyed it. The neck, ribs, and back are of good Maple with a nitrocellulose finish that shines and should last extremely long.
I bought the Western Red Cedar Billet and carved it for the belly.
I removed the back and tuned it to match the new belly.
Reassembled it has a blonde streak down the belly's center like a blaze on a horse's face and a sound you may thoroughly enjoy.
It has planetary pegs for fine tuning!
